John 3:16
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
This is probably the most quoted scripture from the Bible. It's hard for us to imagine God giving us his only Son and for him to die on the cross so we can be forgiven of our sins. What a sacrifice! Would you be willing to make a sacrifice like that? God wants us all to love one another and take care of each other. He wants us to know him and to learn his word so that we can become better people. Jesus was perfect and we are not, but we can always strive to be like Him. To love unconditionally and always share His love with others. Because it is when we do that, that we can have eternal life with Him.
